Words of the Month "Slip" or "Fall"

Hello and Welcome September!!! I you can't tell, one of my favorite months of the year is September. I get so excited when we spin out of August and enter into September, the first month of Fall. This is the Month where it seems like things slow down enough for me to notice the changes.

I love how the green leaves seem to change into the beautiful colors of red, orange, yellow right before my eye. The wind blows a little softer (at times). I love that football happens in the Fall. After such a dry season in 2020, we are all "Ready for some Football". I love that the children are starting to get their schedules together for school and making decisions about Fall/winter activities. Now, I do proceed with caution on that "activity hype" in particular, because that also determines how long my evenings will last.

This Month, as we are heading into a new season, God has given me something new to ponder on this Month. That is instead of one word, we have two. Slip and/or Fall.

Purpose.

So, I know God want to talk to us about His purpose for us this season.

FALL

Forget

All

The second word the Lord shared with me. As I was trying my hardest to put together the words for the letters, FALL. He said its just that simple, Forget ALL.

What does all this mean exactly, no idea. But I am excited for the Journey. If you know anything about God, it's going to grow us, change us, and settle us.
